NC 700 to Berry Hill Bridge
6.5 miles 2-3 hours.
Just below the put in is Three Ledges Shoal. The easiest run is river left almost against the shore. Near Cascade Creek (about 3 miles from the put in) is a large heron rookery. This is best seen in April.
There is no public access at Berry Hill bridge.
