South Fork to Anglin Mill
This is a pretty section of the river. It seems more like a mountain stream than a piedmont river. Except for in the winter and spring, it seldom has enough water for an easy run. The first part of the run is easy Class I water but we take out at the Anglin Mill bridge access which is below the Stairsteps. The Stairsteps are a Class II rapids formed by a series of ledges across the entire width of the river.
